I was terrified, but I put my two weeks in! Originally, I was going to tell my boss first, but he wasn’t there early in the morning, so I told his dad instead. And, it was a great decision! His dad was professional and understanding about the situation. He even asked if there was anything they can do for me to stay. Alternatively, my boss didn’t take it well. His face was a mix of anger and uncertainty

I get it. They thought they had found a long-term designer, only for me to leave 4.5 months later. I was the fourth person to leave in four months, so hopefully that’ll open my boss’ eyes to his terrible management skills

My team members weren’t surprised, and were all very supportive of my decision. Many of them wished they could leave as well.
