Why Pottermore?! Why?

Due to high demand...

Pottermore, you’re breaking my heart! I’ve been trying to log into Pottermore for weeks now and have gotten this message 99% of the time. I hope Sony beefs up their servers because demand will skyrocket when the site opens to everyone later this month.

During last weekend’s Baltimore Book Festival, Johns Hopkins University opened the Peabody Institute to the public. The library is breathtaking. Mostly everyone who entered the room stopped and gasped. I would LOVE to have lived there! Plus, the spiral staircase is beautiful! My friend joked and called the Institute “Hogwarts”

The Sorting Hat - Pottermore

As every Harry Potter fan knows, the Sorting Hat Ceremony is one of the most important events in a student’s life as this is the moment when the Hat will decide which House you will spend all seven of your years at school. These are the students you will be living with and spending most of your time with. My favorite Houses are Gryffindor (of course!) and Ravenclaw, but I am happy to be able to help shape Pottermore before everyone else, so any House will be fine.

You can probably tell by now that I’m a huge Harry Potter geek. Finally received my Pottermore welcome email today after weeks of waiting! I was one of the million who got a spot on the beta.
